Henry Dynov-Teixeira, age 8, dressed as a member of the British Royal Guard as Prince William and Princess Catherine left Greentown Labs in Somerville on Thursday, Dec. 1.

This was part of the couple's three-day trip of Massachusetts, which included stops at City Hall in Boston and TD Garden to catch a Celtics Game with Mayor Michelle Wu and Maura Healy.

Fortunately, Henry's tactic worked as William and Kate caught a glimpse of his getup and stopped to accept flowers from the little guard.

"I asked them where Prince George was and he answered and said he was in school," Henry told WCVB, who also posted the video to their YouTube. "I'm going to scream to my BFF, Baxter, and tell him I am famous."

Henry's mom told the outlet that Henry wanted the outfit after visiting London. Henry also wore the costume for Halloween.

The Royals will also visit Roca Inc. in Chelsea before hosting the Earthshot Prize Awards at MGM Music Hall in Fenway on Friday night, NBC10 Boston reports. The prize honors individuals who focus on creating sustainable solutions for preserving the planet.
